It may ultimately be to his detriment, but it's prevented Kamala from getting a lot of airtime. Since she smoked him at the debate, it's been a lot of Trump doing dumb things for attention and celebrities endorsing Kamala. I think a lack of primary for Kamala didn't allow her to really establish her 2024 brand.
