Topic	Heres a huge fuck you to everyone who surrendered a covid pet to the shelter
Kradek 10/12/24 6:16:00 PM #28:	It's weird that so many people aren't aware that there was a sharp increase in pet adoption IE "COVID pets" during the pandemic because they were stuck at home and lonely. It's a real thing. I don't know how many of them were returned, haven't seen raw numbers, however no doubt there is at least a large enough amount to discuss and TC is addressing the people who selfishly only got these pets because they were stuck inside and lonely and then dumped them when "the world opened back up".
