Is this a direct sequel or anything? it being called Gracas F confuses me because the F to me would denote either it already being a remake or some sort of sequel. Vesperia, berseria, zezteria and Arise are the only ones I have played and have been wanting to look into some of the other ones before, this looks like a good of a place as any to start if I do not need to know anything from other earlier games.

This is technically a remake of a remake. Graces first launched on the Wii, but that version was Japan-only. Then it got an enhanced PS3 version called Graces F, and that version is the one that also got released to the west. Now that PS3 version is being used as the base for this remaster. In other words, you don't need to have previously played any Tales game (not the older versions of this game nor any other Tales game) to play this remaster.

Hearts R being freed from Vita hell would be nice.
