I'd argue they have a quantity problem more than a quality problem right now, or at least they did (they've slowed down the last couple years). They were putting out more than was necessary to meet demand.

This is the real issue I have, at least with the MCU. There's been a ton of stuff post-Endgame that I'm definitely interested in and expect that I would enjoy, but there's so much of it and it all has prerequisites and/or a commitment to a broader storyline such that it's hard to get myself to start any of it. It's really the same problem I've always had with comics, which is that I've always had the impression that casually getting into them would miss out on too much to be really enjoyable, but to really dig into them is a monumental task because there's nearly a century of content to wade through (in some cases). In both cases, I'm sure that if I just sat myself down and forced myself to get started, I'd figure out how in-depth I wanted to get and have a good time, but the pre-emptive FOMO and desire to make sure I give the media a proper chance are hurdles that I don't have to get over for most other things I could do to entertain myself, so I just do something else instead. Repeat two months later when another interesting Marvel thing comes out and the body of work to get through gets even larger (though as you say, they've slowed down a bit and I probably could catch up if I tried).
