So wait....after Cannon dropped the classified documents case, are the fraudulent electors in Georgia or the January 6th cases still viable? Too much insanity in too little time for me to keep up with. Trump going to prison sure would be a nice freedom-loving fuck you cherry on top for losing the election.

Cannon's dismissing of the case is being appealed by DOJ.

1/6 case is still ongoing but thanks to SCOTUS it has been seriously hamstrung and beyond that the delay will push it well past the election.

GA case IIRC the GA Supreme Court decided to fuck with it and has also caused it to be delayed way past the election by accepting an appeal from Trump and pausing the proceedings until whenever the fuck they decide to rule on it.

Edit: For the sake of completeness:

NY Criminal Case: Sentencing got moved into September (want to say 18th going just by memory) as Merchan gave time for both sides to give their input on how the SCOTUS immunity ruling affects the case. It's not impossible SCOTUS fucked this one and could force a mistrial - we'll see.

NY Civil Case: Waiting on Trump's appeal. The bond agreement he got stipulated that both parties had to be ready to go when the appeals court's next session begins and I think we're coming up on that - August or September IIRC again from memory.
