I won't say anything bad about Halo 4, but I will say, as someone who played Halo 3, ODST, and Reach probably about 10k combined hours with friends, we barely played Halo 4 much past the opening mission. We did online for a couple weeks though.

Now there could have been a myriad of reasons why, we all were growing apart, work/life was taking over a majority of our time, and we simply moved on around the same time, but there wasn't much keeping us involved.
