We The Citizens of this country who have a civil duty to adhering to laws and regulations, to promote moral values, to fight corruption and bigotry in maintaining the ideals of this country that regardless of race, religion, gender, or cultural differences, everyone has equal rights. We let these insurrectionists and terrorists that threatened to destabilize this country off scott free instead of making a stand. We are letting Trump threaten to destabilize this country by continuing to allow this convicted felon twice impeached two time popular vote loser and rapist to run for leadership of this country. And we have let the media which is meant to inform us, the people and the citizens, to fall into the hands of rich fascists and dog on his political rival who seeks to fight oppression because he had a cold. It's disgraceful. We need to do better. We as the people have the power. And it is our responsibility to use that power to combat this evil.... we have failed. I'm done with your fucking platitudes. What should ordinary people have done about the insurrectionists? In specific terms and in detail, please. What, should we form vigilante mobs and hang them from street lamps? What you're saying about "the people" needing to take a stand sounds cute but it doesn't mean anything. Then what about law? What about justice? What about accountability? What about no one being above all these things? This your first exposure to reality or something? Look up Iran-Contra. Look up how Nixon for off scott-free for Watergate, or Bush Jr. for his illegal military actions. What about the American dream?
