we could actually move earth further from the sun, but not with our current tech. not that there are any physics preventing it. we know we can put thrusters (literally) on the moon and use it to slowly "tug" the earth to a further orbit. it's not like we dont understand the concept but the tech is obviously not there--that's more of a solution to the sun expanding in the far future. --- April 15, 2024: The Day the Internet Died ...
