What he's saying isn't wrong. But peaceful protests, which the vast majority of this is, is barely moving any needles.

The media is out for blood, but he can't very well attack them as a whole like Trump can and still does. Not that he even wants to.

He and the White House are carefully crafting their words to not give the right-wing any ammo against him to run ads for him being antisemitic, pro domestic violence, or hypocritical with regards to January 6th comparisons using his OWN words. Their still going to do it, most likely. But they won't have his gaffs to hang him with.

But that doesn't mean you can't also stress that you understand that MOST of these protesters are not breaking ANY laws at all, and to not let the actions of the few taint the many.

Who knows, maybe he has done that and I just haven't seen it because the media is only trying to paint a specific picture. But I don't THINK he's done that at all to the degree he should. I mean, if he were, I'm sure the social media teams would highlighting it.
