You must have missed what happened to the nativesstill happening too indian reformatory schools still existed when i was a kid via certain legal loop-holes. they would even be established on the same property using the very same buildings they would use back around the early 1900s they've since rebranded them into christian learning academies exclusive to tribal members coincidentally enough and i know this b/c they were more-or-less foster homes i unfortunately had to live in when i was a pre-teen, before they straight-up made up false accusations about me so i could then be placed into a behavioral health facility in a nearby state (which im not sure how that was legally possible but thats what happened) before i ended up in another group home a week afterward, mostly for attempting to run away a couple times & spitefully telling relatives over heavily-monitored phone-calls that theyd shut the hot-water heater off on purpose during shower-time + that they werent feeding me after school hours (both of which was 100% true FTR) anyway yeah, sorry to be slightly off-topic, but just something a lot of ppl dont know that still has been going on at least as of the late 00s . ...
