This is the problem. You call it bullying, when it isn't.

The last topic we argued in, you were literally defending somebody who said diversity in media is bad, and you said the same thing, there. "Well, everybody was dogpiling, so I defended him."

Do you know WHY everybody was dogpiling them? Because they were spouting alt right rhetoric and saying diversity was bad! People getting on their case weren't bullying them, they were rightfully calling them out for a terrible argument, yet you defended them, anyway.

Like DnD said above: Playing devil's advocate means you're advocating for the devil. There's a time and place, and, well... 99% of the time, when you do it, it's not the time or the place. You're just randomly defending somebody with horrible opinions. And when you do it as much as you do, it makes it seem like you just literally hold those thoughts and viewpoints, too.

That's such a simplification of his post. He raised a point in a "what do we think of this" type way, maybe his language and tone leaned 55-45 to the right wing perspective or whatever

Sometimes IRL I do that to get a more impassioned answer from my friends and I thought I saw that in his post

But I don't think it ever warrants personal attacks.
