No political figure with any measure of sense would say otherwise. Yeah, I tried to be deliberate with my language to say these are numbers for how people identify religiously. It's hard to know what's in people's heads. If you want to argue there's more incentive in politics for a non-believer to claim to be Christian than there is in American society in general, that's probably true.
