Retaliation was fair the level it was taken to is what's being questioned here. The correctional officer in me wants to say it was too far. As it's drilled into our head when using force "the least reasonable amount required to obtain a correctional objective" Civilian in me wants to know just how bad was this bully what was the history. Like if this was mild bullying or a one off incident. Too far. But if this girl has being tormented for awhile by the other girl and nobody every helped or punished the bully I could understand her snapping. --- I put my heart and soul into my work and I fear I have lost my mind in the process ...
