I am surprised their response is to ban them outright instead of trying to capitalize on the situation and having Airbnb-approved cameras that indicate very clearly where they are, when they are recording, when they are being accessed by the owner, etc <_<

So for those that do want/need cameras to monitor the interior of their property still can do so but i guess there'd be a lot of potential legal liability on Airbnb's end. Or due to only having a selection of approved cameras, it'd make those cameras easier to target/hack/interfere with.
