Idk why places like bars can't just have rules like no political discussion allowed. It would make sense cause people get heated over politics and now we are adding booze to the mix.

I was raised to not publicly talk about religion or politics cause its a fast way to start a argument

Problem is that people draw the line of what is political differently.

EDIT: Just as an example off the top of my head, there are devout Christians that think the teachings of Jesus Christ himself are "woke nonsense". The stuff like helping those in need, loving thy neighbour etc. The most basic "do good, don't do bad" messages are political to the wrong people.
