The biggest issue to me is you have some legitimately good ones that basically treat it as actual physical therapy yet you have some that really leans into the "woo" and bullshit like healing crystals and other nonsense. I think they do a great disservice.

But you will always have the people that only know "well it helped me" or some family member of theirs so they accept it whole.

I strongly detest pseudoscience, though I will note that the methods used do work for certain back issues if practiced properly (not so much the neck and other areas). The requirements to practice chiropractic are also more lax which doesn't help build confidence in using it.
