There is zero evidence of China exerting influence on them. There are plenty of privacy and security issues but none of those issues are any worse on TikTok than other social media platforms. I know this board isn't mostly right wing cranks, so I'm guessing the bulk of the "Yes" votes are from aging millennials and Gen Xers who think it's dumb zoomer crap.
