That said, if you're the customer in this situation and the other workers just mean nothing to you for whatever reason, you could bypass this by dropping it under the table and claiming you saw it fall out of her pocket before you hand it to her. You'll know what happened and she'll know what happened, but so long as you stick to your story, those other folks can't lay any claim to that money because it was always hers. Had a guy do this to me when I worked at the grocery store... we weren't supposed to accept tips and I told him this and then he insisted, saying he saw it fall out of my pocket and he just stuck the money in my shirt pocket. --- God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in her shoes, 'cause then you really might know what it's like to have to choose. - Everlast ...
