And he certainly didnt tell the old testament to fuck off. He told the religious leaders of the time to fuck off. His whole point was that they were way too focused on the ritual and ceremony of scripture and werent following the parts about helping your fellow man. And that they were judging people for not following the law when they werent following it themselves.

This isn't wrong. It's more that he told a lot of interpretations of the law to fuck off. Like it's cool to help people on the sabbath day because that's a good thing to do.
