but you've had many you were sure were wrong but they would not overturn? you get modded often, like very few weeks or something?
I don't get modded that often, but it does tend to come in waves rather than the odd isolated one. Usually get a wave every 2 months or so.

Of course I've had ones I thought were wrong; I wouldn't bother appealing otherwise. Problem is, some of the rules are so vague, and moderators so prone to injecting their own assumptions about anything you don't explicitly spell out, that it's still generally a bit of a crapshoot. Many are likely valid based on hidden details of what exactly the rules cover, if paired with the assumptions the mods have made; but they often won't tell you these details or assumptions and will almost never believe you if you try to correct the assumptions, even if you can point to other posts that show the assumptions are wrong.

The only moderation I've ever had that was upheld all the way yet I can objectively, 100% say for sure was wrong, was a moderation for censor bypass when I didn't have any banned words (incorrectly censored or otherwise) in the post but was replying to a topic with a bypass in the title. The original mod's response suggested they thought I made the topic (and thus wrote the title) but no fucking clue how it got upheld by admin. This was way back in the CJayC days.
