The actual logical argument against it is simply because it can result in a child, and children born from nuclear siblings are more likely to have negative effects from inbreeding.

The concerns of a gay couple having children made from themselves is not an issue since the biology for that requires opposites and not alikes. And even if a gay couple were to undergo some kind of procedure or stem cell shenanigans to allow them to have their own kid, the worry of inbreeding defects would not be a problem for their kid.

The main issue from inbreeding is an increase risk of autism, which is already an ever increasing risk for strangers. If the health of the child argument was valid, you would need to apply it to all people wishing to reproduce because the populace as a who are at ever increasing risk of carrying a disorder they could pass in to descendants.
