It sounds like they saw his gun on his hip and just opened fire. Just more proof that the 2A is bullshit when cops are allowed to execute us just for merely exercising it, much less us being able to use guns for self-defense to prevent cops from executing us. These types of incidents will only increase in frequency as red states increase open carry laws. I feel terrible for the guy and his family, I'm glad they at least didn't murder his children as well. Literally the least they could do after executing their father.
