I think there's a certain contingent of people that are (rightfully) tired of getting blasted by this rhetoric for nearly a decade and still not seeing things materially improve for them at a day to day level.

I don't blame them, I'm voting for Biden but I'm not going to admonish them. The elderly's desperate attempts to maintain power are transparent and depressing. Millennials are 40 and are still waiting for their turn to kick establishment politicians to the fucking curb. It's depressing.
