It's easier to gloss over the server or waitresses not ever tipping the Chic Fil A worker who didn't get tips and made less. exactly it is because tipping is a vapid way to signal "I care" without actually caring you don't have to think about these uncomfortable truths cause you "helped out one person" and get to come on a place like CE and act like that makes you a paragon of righteousness for the low wage earner (just see the replies about people being stingy) except in your ignorance you reinforced the system and depressed wages ...
