That is why it is so important to hold parents accountable when they are so obviously negligent as is the case here. Maybe the next parent wont be so eager to give their school aged child access to a firearm.

It would be even more helpful if the GOP would join the clear majority of us who want to consider and implement common sense gun control to keep people safe. Instead of using shootings of the innocent as a rallying cry for wedge voters who they convince that the big bad Democrats are coming for every gun they own and donations from the NRA.

But one thing at a time.
