I say that since we can safely say that every significant weightlifting record since the 1980s involved PEDs (because otherwise, we're somehow suggesting that there are humans so strong that they can overcome the difference steroids makes, which might be as much as 20-30%), then we kind of just have to factor that in when assessing the most impressive humans.
In short, if you use steroids to cheat over someone not using steroids that's not impressive (and immoral to boot). But if you and all your rivals are on PEDs and you win, you are the most impressive one.
Oh, yeah. I'm not deny the accomplishment. Even if I started banging roids and training, I'd get smoked.
