Dracula Psycho Night of the Living Dead The Exorcist I feel like I ought to make a stronger pitch about Psycho, since I feel like the others have had good explanations. Psycho was a completely wild experience when it came out in theaters and really changed the game. It's considered the originator of the slasher genre, but it's so much more than that. It's an incredible film to boot, and maybe without being as good as it was it may have taken longer to blow up as a genre. But people went crazy for this film. It was a movie with a shocking twist and during every showing people were told not to spoil it for anyone entering the theater. And the masterful directing and iconic scenes an camera shots cannot be overstated. If one slasher makes it on here, it absolutely needs to be Psycho. --- I stream sometimes.
