That's not necessarily fair. To play most consoles games in another region you'd have to buy the console again or mod it. This should be a point in favor of the DS since it is one of the only consoles that isn't region locked.
Noted. How much credit it deserves is up for debate. It saves you $30 on a converter, true, but I don't know if that'll make a major impact.
