So where does the Smackdown main event scene go now anyway? It's all so irrelevant. Christian was proven to be incompetent last year, Show is in the mid card and he and Henry are proven to be inept because they couldn't get the title from Bryan. Orton presumably will continue with Kane, plus he lost to Kane so he's clearly not that great anymore. Sheamus is a pretty empty champion because he didn't earn the title at all since his opponent was so worthless; Bryan shouldn't even get a rematch because it's a plot hole if he isn't immediately fired since he's objectively an atrocious, talentless idiot in kayfabe. What happens from here? The only people who have any credibility are Orton and Sheamus, and one is busy and the other is already champion. There are no challengers that look like they have a better chance than any random drunken hobo picked up off the street.
