Women who are violent to hide their insecurity.
Hair that changes shape
Verbal Tics.
Unabashed optimism uncontested by backstory or conflict
Angsty protagonists with no apparently justification.
Hotblooded and powerful characters.
Use some of these traits in your story, and you are guaranteed to have the HGR stamp of approval!
