This. How else did Smoochum, Chimecho, and probably Slowking make it to the top 10, while stuff like Alakazam, Starmie, and for crying out loud, Mewtwo, not make it to the top 20?
Personally, I think Slowking was a great choice to win. But this is true about the other factors there.
