my point is that there is a ceiling for how popular an organization run by someone who is constantly publicly offending people is going to get. he might be responsible for it growing, but if he did not say crap like this all the time it would probably be in an even better spot. there is going to come a time where someone's gotta tell him to shut up.
This is true. I think the phrase "necessary evil" is pretty apt here, for now.

With all the big announcements about upcoming Canadian cards yesterday (or the day before? I forget) he probably thought he WAS appealing to the Canadian fanbase to grow the sport.
When they set up the next batch of Brazilian cards I could totally see him going down to Rio and saying the opposite. <_<
Yeah, probably. It's pretty funny that the Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen rematch will be held at the 80,000 seat soccer stadium in Brazil. I don't see how Sonnen makes it out alive. And I don't mean the fight. I think there is a very real chance that he is murdered >_>
