With that elegant parting shot, BBallman launched into a literal shot that was far less elegant, but far more brutal, launching himself right at JeffRaze's body, leaving a clean hole in the stomach. BBallman looked at it in satisfaction as Raze staggered, turned around, and managed to raise BBallman's old magnum one more time and fire it. BBallman simply smiled and hurtled straight at the bullet, which passed through him, before colliding with Raze's head in a fabulous explosion of candy, viscera and the cartoid artery.

"OK, so can we finally get rid of that goddamn basketball now?" asked Comm. "He was really starting to annoy me towards the end there."
"Alright, sure," said Minio, who was in an uncharacteristically pleasant mood, for no reason at all. Minio summoned the demonic spectral mirage from Jupiter's Hellfire that she always used for such special occasions. "What effect would you like?" asked the mirage. Its tail swung about wildly, knocking some of Minio's monitors askew. "Fade-out, like usual? Straight disappearance? Explosion? Death by Insanity?"
"I'll let you choose," said Minio to Comm, since she had been sensing a lowering of morale recently.
"Really?" Minio nodded at him. "Hmm. Well, I always think the fadeout is a ~classy~ choice but I think here we'll cause the basketball to explode."
"Sure thing!" said the mirage, hitting a button on her wrist. BBallman7 exploded spectacularly and the mirage disappeared.
"Now, on to the final 14!" said Minio. "Who is your money o-" suddenly, something caught the corner of Minio's eye.
Bballman's exploded pieces began to reform. Slowly, the basketball pieces merged and combined, eventually resulting in Bballman returning completely to normal (or as "normal" as a rogue basketball holding a grudge can be). He roared in pleasure at this.
Sadly for Minio, Comm and the long-disappeared Mirage, Bballman's desire for violence had built up over the long chase of JeffreyRaze - and had not been satiated by the death of his quarry. Combined with the bit of Speed Force he had been given, this created an insane hybrid of insane things that could not simply be destroyed by Minio or Comm. He had become the spirit of chaos itself, or some other JRPG cliche. Regardless, he now thirsted for more murder.
Yes, Bballman7 was going rogue.
