I mentioned this, but you forgot -- the Bunbunmaru news is not exactly known for its accuracy. It's a sensationalist newspaper.
Which is why I shot Spiral. After Silver flipped Town I thought the whole Bunbunmaru news thing was Scum's way to mislead Town until Town figured it out.
