Also, how did Raimi understand Spider-Man? Spider-Man acted NOTHING like how Spider-Man should have in his films. Toby Maguire was a terrible Spidey (and terrible actor) too. Beyond that, the Spider-Man movies were utterly melodramatic and groan-worthy at times, so I don't get how you thought it was lighthearted and fun more than this proposed movie.
Also, we don't know what the entire tone of this movie will be. There were some funny scenes in that trailer that were drowned in the drama music to add to the serious tone of the trailer.
