DS9 is far and away my favorite Trek.
(I watched it before Babylon 5 and really didn't like Babylon. Maybe those fanbases really are doomed to never get along)
DS9 has a Trill character in its main cast and does the race infinitely better.

Naw, not always. Babylon 5's first season is pretty iffy though, with some really, really bad episodes. The third and fourth seasons are ridiculously good though, I mean goddamn, really freakin' good. Right up there with DS9's fifth through seventh, easily.
And yes, Jadzia is great.
