Oh man, the idea of FFVI in 3D with voice acting... There's certainly nothing wrong with the original, but I would just love to see it happen.
FFVI with those things would BOMB. There are a lot , A LOT of things in FFVI that people who hate the modern FFs would HATE if in 3D and voice acted.
Setzer would be pretty much a typical rail thin bishou, Locke would probably be thin as well and only spared a Sqaircut because of his bandana. Since there are so few females, either Terra or Celes is probably getting the Rikku treatment. Edgar would have a grade A cheesy Voice actor.
And really things get much worse when you consider things like Mog and Gau. I think it would be fine but that HUGE segment of the fanbase that likes ff6 because it somehow isn't like the modern FFs in terms of character design and story would be SHOCKED at just how modern FF6 was, but the sprites and no voice-acting covered it.
