So it's singed/shyvana/graves/GP/Ahri(me) versus yorick/sivir/akali/heimer/lee sin
I'm thinking we're screwed. So I go bot thinking I need to hold my own VS heimer and hope we have good players up top. I'm doing fine but I keep listening to my team get slaughtered. I figure I need to make a difference. I get aggressive on the heimer and start pushing him back. I proceed to kill him and push the creeps to the tower by the time he gets back and push him off of it completely and just take it. My team is still dying top like mad.
This is probably the best kept dominion secret: Heimer is terrible in dominion. He is hard countered by anything that can clear minion waves from a distance, he adds little to a gank, and is easily ganked himself. Heimer is pretty much 100% unsafe to move out unless he is behind creeps or you're dead. Now, if he gets onto point, he can be very obnoxious. But so can a lot of other champs (that have the plus of other utility as well). But if you're able to clear waves safely like Ahri you should be very aggressive and force bad turrets, especially since anything short of a direct hit from grenade will do absolutely jack to you.
Apparently the 2nd best kept secret is if top is playing passive then you should 3/2 split or push with creeps instead. (pushing w/ creeps is much weaker vs. siv so you should've 3/2 split)
Also, that's not a doomsday comp. In fact, the way the game turned out more or less is what I would expect to happen. Comps with a tank in them are typically very weak until they get the third point, at which point they become very strong because it is VERY hard to get a tank off point.
