Ugh, freaking blind pick matchmaking. My main solo mid at this point is Anivia and lately it seems every time I pick her for the sake of filling my team's final role, I hit a Veigar mid and he destroys me after he gets level 5 or so, even if I get a kill or two early. -_-
If there is a veigar, for one, start buying magic resist.
2, before you buy magic resist, buy a tenacity item(Probably merc treads, partially covering the MR and getting you the tenacity item).
