I rewatched the 2004 rumble and I have to say I think from the stretch where Angle comes out to the end has to be the best stretch in a royal rumble. Like 2k2 and 92 might be better rumbles but the end of 04 is really good. Or maybe I'm not remembering a really good section in another rumble.
The absolute best "section" in any Royal Rumble is 2007, #28-finish.
But I'm not sure where you get the impression that 2004 is underrated. It's consistently rated as a Top Two Rumble, either ahead of '92 or right behind it.
I think you're thinking of 2001 that's also considered a great Rumble, not 2002 which is only good for the Taker/Maven stuff and #19-finish.
