Fair enough.
I just prefer to take things as I see them, rather some silly prophecy.
The whole damn series is about Prophecies. The LEGEND of Zelda.
There has yet to be one single prophecy in the series less than 100% correct.
The Hylians who come up with this can literally feel/sense the gods, hence why they can do magic. There is no reason to think if it is said that NOTHING else can do anything, that anything else could do anything.
