And who has stated that in canon? People who want to make Taker appear more threatening and would lie about it?
Taker is not a book or movie character. If he can be literally beaten so bad that he has to be carried out of the ring at Wrestlemania, then he can be pinned. Honestly, the "can't be beaten at WM" thing was shaky at best until the match against Trips, but that just destroyed any notion of his invulnerability. There's nothing magical or exceptional about a pin. It's somebody's shoulders on the mat for 3 seconds.
