I've noticed a few people voting here and there who I don't recognize. This is totally fine. Obviously I don't know every user on the board, and all are welcome to vote. Also I really don't have any real reason to believe anyone is alt-voting, and I'm not doing any kind of investigation of changing any votals whatsoever. But some of these accounts were created years ago and some very recently, and certain accounts both old and new have very low karma and no identifiers in their sig related to an original account (in fact, sometimes no sigs at all). To my knowledge the sum of the votes from these users I don't recognize wouldn't have swayed matches one way or the other (though I could be very wrong and haven't been counting these every day), so I haven't been bothering to point them out, especially since I'd like to avoid accusing someone of being an alt if they're not. But I'm starting to be a little more wary. If you think you're one of the users I'm talking about, and you're not an alt, sorry if this embarrassed you, and welcome to my contest - thanks for voting, and please keep participating if you're having fun! If you see any suspicious activity or spy a known alt, let me know.
