Honestly the bosses in SS are pretty lame overall.

Honestly, I didn't think any of them were lame except the repeats and Levias. Tentalus was stupid, but only because of his model destroying the atmosphere. Levias was dumb because of the damn flying combat. Trying to hit moving targets on a moving creature's back while flying... ugh. The second part of the fight was fine though. Then, the repeats were just awful. Fighting the Imprisoned that many times when it was already a slow, cutscene laden, and incredibly un-fun experience the first time was generally awful. And the fact that Ghiranim only got a powered up version of his weakest attack and none of his attacks did more damage just ruined that second fight. He was already going to be easier just based on the fact that you were going to know how to handle your sword by that time. No reason for him to freak out about you being hard to defeat after that fight compared to the first at all. Replace that with any random boss fight and let us only fight him twice and it's all good.

On the topic of dungeons, personally I enjoyed Woodfall. It was my second favorite of the MM dungeons, at least. I don't mind Deku Link at all; in fact the only thing I actually dislike about the dungeon is that awful pitch-black room. Odolwa's an amazing boss. Even if he is only hack and slash, he's a very well done and challenging hack and slash at that point in the game. Much better than Gyorg or Twinmold, at VERY least. And more excusable seeing as at least Odolwa's the first boss and the player's only gotten a chance at one dungeon item. One of my favorite bosses to fight in the series, really.

Water Temple definitely does deserve its placement though. Not nearly as bad as Jabu Jabu in OoA (or honestly in my opinion, in OoT either), but frustrating and poorly designed regardless. I quit for 6 months the first time I got there on the N64. I haven't found it as bad my last 2 playthroughs, but I'd imagine that's partially due to the fact that I'm playing the 3DS version which indicates where the water switches are, as well as easy equip boots.. Still not a fun experience any way you put it, however.
