Blackstone's original purpose was to screw around with Knox's 5th. He was stated to having a heavy Oriental accent, though you could consider it canon that he's actually Chinese.
As for his real name...well, I never considered it important. Ryo can attest to my lack of imagination with far east given names/surnames. His false name is much more significant IMO, though no one has actually considered why his name is what is it in public/to me on AIM. >_>
