Stockholm syndrome PERFECTLY describes what happens with Darkseed II. I mean, it is f***ing boring as hell and pretty much every part of it is completely stupid, but it turns into almost sort of an overly long joke. Darkseed II gets really funny the more Mike Dawson becomes characterized as this hilariously pathetic loser and you grow to love/hate him for it, and the whole experience of Darkseed II just turns into one big meme for everyone brave enough to sit through it. It would be impossible to watch without Slowbeef and Diabetus grounding us in reality though.
