"ME?" shouted an outraged (well, duh) bbbtime.
"No, you fool. Alec! Watch as your dreams of saving Christmas utterly die!" laughed ScareChan maniacally (maniac took some of the royalties). "Is the SuperTrackDeath Lazer ready yet, moonbase?"
Moonbase? thought all of team Christmas (except for Dante, Tom and Oxbridge) simultaneously.
"Yes," said todbot, sitting on his own because of the smell.

Meanwhile at HQ, Pram fired at l3fty's corpse a few times for fun.

"Good! Now watch!"
Suddenly the moonbase fired an enormous blue lazer that landed right on top of Alec. It drilled a hole about a metre in diameter right through the earth, through to the other side of the Earth, which just so happened to be the bar Alec had a stake in, in the States.
Alec was utterly unaffected by the lazer as one might expect, but since he was here, he took a free drink, which he downed in 0.000000000002 seconds. This was followed with another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another and then a few shots of Jack Daniels and a fine cigar (yes, he literally drank that as well). Needless to say Alec was no longer in any state to help save Christmas, essentially removing him from the equation.
