In the courtyard, Alec was dancing some kind of solo jive/moonwalk combo while deactivating lazers, missiles, guns, Metal Gear RAYs, REXs, besotted natives of Sheffield who were infatuated with him, and Jack Bauer. You know, all in a day's work. However, he was vaguely surprised when he received a tap on the soldier.
It was Mershiness.
"Finally caught up with you! Can I join your team?" asked Mer.
"Sure," said Alec, spinning around and kicking a missile into the moon. The missile exploded and todbot, who was taking a dump on the moonbase, was flipped upside-down and the s*** hit him in the face. However, for some reason s*** hitting todbot in the head was so funny that it caused masterplum's head to reconstitute and he was brought back to life.
Alec told Mer where the others had gone, and Mer followed Team Christmas into the door in the heel.
