I know Bill Gates is extremely important but Windows customers don't see him as a God.
Oh, I'm aware the public opinion of Bill Gates is far lower than that of Jobs.
But when, god forbid, he does die, I'm pretty sure people are going to see him for who he really is, or at least celebrate his massive contributions to modern society.

Michael Jackson still had a huge fanbase even before he died. People were outside releasing doves when his last trial ended with him being declared innocent.
