To be fair, complaints against Cataclysm are bogus. There's nothing wrong with the Cata expansion, it's just that when your lead villains and faces before that expansion are Illidan and Arthas, it's hard to do much without them. This "well no there's no big bad guy" thing shocks me a bit, but the game isn't going to die. It's still too popular to really die, and besides being completely jokey on the part of Pandaren, the rest of the expansion so far looks fine.
